Fonda El Criollito Restaurant Reviews
The service is phenomenal. Me, my gf and cousin came to this restaurant randomly just to get some local puertorican food. The alcapurria is amazing crispy and deliciously tender. The mofongo and mangu is on point
The place feels safe my wife could go there at anytime by herself. The food is great and good portions. La tripleta o cualquier, El carricho, El pulpo mejor dicho ESTA duro el Lugar. Let me don't forget las arcapurias
Came for a quick lunch. Had the pollo guidado, beef empanada and pulpo (octopus) mix. It was very good. The chicken was a little on the salty side but otherwise yummy. The beef empanadas were super delicous with the dip they had to go with it. I like to add extra hot sauce to it. The pulpo was my favorite. I try this anywhere that has it. It's an oily dish but that's what keeps it so fresh and yummy (drain out the oil before you actually take a scoop to eat). It was clean inside. There was one other party when we went. There's plenty of seating and they brought the food out to us. I would recommend if you are in the area to try it.
